The short version: KairosPicks collects the information necessary to run the platform and provide your subscription. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without disclosing that to you and offering an opt-out, consistent with Colorado Privacy Act requirements.
When you use AI features on KairosPicks, your input data is transmitted to Anthropic, PBC for processing.
Anthropic operates the Claude AI model that powers KairosPicks's pick analysis, coaching, and recommendation features. When you trigger an AI analysis, the following information is sent to Anthropic's API: your analysis query, relevant game and odds context, and (for personalized features) a summary of your bet history statistics.
Anthropic processes this data to generate a response and returns it to KairosPicks, which displays it to you. Anthropic does not use content submitted through API calls to train its models, per Anthropic's API usage policy. KairosPicks does not store your AI query text beyond the current session.
Anthropic's privacy practices are governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
We share personal information with the following third-party service providers, solely as necessary for them to perform services on our behalf. We do not authorize these providers to use your information for their own marketing purposes.

We may disclose personal information: (a) if required by law, court order, or governmental authority; (b) to protect the rights, property, or safety of KairosPicks, our users, or others; (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case the acquiring entity will be bound by this Privacy Policy or will provide notice of any material changes.

KairosPicks uses the following types of cookies and local storage technologies:
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will impair Service functionality. Most browsers allow you to delete cookies at any time. Clearing your browser's localStorage will delete your locally stored wager log and capital manager data — this data cannot be recovered from our servers if it was not synced.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or sell advertising based on your usage of KairosPicks.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, consistent with applicable legal requirements. Our standard retention periods are:
When retention periods expire, we securely delete or anonymize personal information. You may request earlier deletion subject to the exceptions described in Section 8.
Depending on your location, you have the following rights regarding your personal information. We do not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
How to submit a request: Email privacy@kairospicks.com with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request" and describe the right you wish to exercise. We will respond within 45 days. For complex requests, we may extend by an additional 45 days with notice. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.
If you are a Colorado resident and we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing legal@kairospicks.com with the subject "Privacy Rights Appeal" within 30 days of our denial. If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Colorado Attorney General at coag.gov.
KairosPicks recognizes and honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser or browser extension transmits a GPC signal when you visit KairosPicks, we treat it as a valid opt-out of the sale and sharing of your personal information, consistent with requirements under the Colorado Privacy Act (effective July 1, 2024).
GPC is a browser-level privacy signal. You can enable it through browsers and extensions that support it, including Brave, Firefox with the GPC extension, DuckDuckGo, and others. When a GPC signal is detected, KairosPicks will not process your data for targeted advertising or data sharing with third-party advertisers.
Because KairosPicks does not engage in targeted advertising or sell personal information, GPC signals have limited practical effect beyond confirming our default practices. We honor them regardless.
KairosPicks does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for monetary or other valuable consideration.
We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf (as listed in Section 5), not with data brokers, advertisers, or marketing companies.
If you wish to formally exercise your right to opt out of any future sale or sharing of personal information, you may submit a request to privacy@kairospicks.com with the subject "Do Not Sell My Information." We will confirm your opt-out preference and note it on your account.

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at security@kairospicks.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of a revised Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
